Funky & awesomely retro. The Melissa brand shoes, Peace Wedge, is a Vivienne Westwood Collaboration. It’s recent gift that I received and now has a home in my shoe collection. Can’t wait to wear them out. Plastic shoe collection up to 2 now…

Cacharel yellow pumps contrasted by blue tights. I’m inspired now…

Absolutely beautiful and ridiculously awesome. I’m in love with the iris design of these amazing shoes. Alexander McQueen is a genius. ($3500 and you can have yourself a pair) too

Abstraction of a pair of heels. Lo Res Shoe for United Nude. Concept by Rem Koolhaas.
The Lo Res Project 3D scans objects and simplifies the number of points used to represent it, thus creating its fragmented nature (the more points, the smoother the object; the less amount of points, the more fragments and triangular).
United Nude was founded by Rem Koolhaas and Galahad Clark.
These are so awesome. I want a pair.

Success! There is FINALLY a Rainbow Brand sandal shop here in NYC. Stumbled upon it the other day. I didn’t know where I would get them except in CA or online…lol…too bad they last soo long that you never really have to buy new one’s often. I’ve had mine for atleast 7 years and they look like they could last 7 more. Just so durable and comfy.

“Most Curious” an installation by Tracey Neuls and Nina Saunders. Love its whimsical nature. Reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. I would love wearing those shoes. They look so fun.

Really cool design by London architect, Julian Hakes. One continuous piece of material–the foot makes the connection between the heel and ball of the shoe. The shoe is composed of carbon fiber with rubber edge and leather material covers the portion of the shoe that touches the foot bed. Wonder if you can walk comfortably in them? Interested to see when they are produced how they look and feel.

Shoes designed from bread by R&E Praspaliauskas. The kid sized ones are the cutest-made from little buns. Don’t think I’ll be eating them after they are worn, but I’ll feed them to the pigeons at least.
