On my ride home today…S train between Grand Central and Times Square is donned with cartoons of the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade, including Hello Kitty in her plane.

The Ensemble (from bottom to top): Yohji Yamamoto high tops; blue jeans; (2) fur tails; iPhone with monster body case; muslin blazer with slashes; Kidrobot backpack; urbanears headphones (or similar); beanie with Pom Pom; and wrist full of bracelets all while dancing the wait away.

This is an awesome collection he’s got on and I only got the back view! I couldn’t resist documenting. Dancing was a plus!

yesterday’s subway view: holland

S-train campaign for travel to Holland that I snapped a few phone pics of. Only thought the outside of the train was decorated, but got inside and found they had trainsformed the inside as well. Everthing was covered down to the turning the seats into green park benches or turning the cars into mini museums. Pretty fun idea.

Headed up to 190th street station in Manahattan to check out the Cloisters last weekend.  Pretty cool station.  Nice park land to walk through if you make the trek up there.

subway sighting_uniqlo (S) train

The S-train that goes back and forth between Times Square and Grand Central Station got a facelift I guess.  Uniqlo apparently thought it was a good place for advertising.  I think it’s kinda fun.  Definitely grabs your attention.

Always awesome to see a piano in the subway. Makes me really miss having a piano around to play. Had a minute to play on a digital key board with piano weight keys the other day and it was great. Doesn’t beat the real thing though! Felt a little rusty.

Found this lying in the subway tracks today.  If you need a shovel, go to the 1,2,3 track @ Times Square and you may still find it there.
