Met up with Jeff and Laura for some absolutely delicious brunch food at Moto. This was my first time having brunch here. Always seem to just make it out for dinner. (see earlier post on 4/13/09 on Moto). This is really one of my favorite restaurants to go to. Great atmosphere, delicious food and live music. The music is always good there. Really makes for a good time. The pic above is of the guys we had the pleasure of listening to on Sunday. I think they are the “BJJ Trio” if I remember correctly, but not 100% sure.
Food to try for brunch: Baked Ham and Cheese Egg with Grilled bread and salad greens (yum…soo good I want more); the freshly made donuts with some cinnamon are the best; and the Date Cake with warm toffee sauce and whipped cream (always a must get and not just a dinner dessert menu item).
That’s just what I had, everything looked great so you can’t go wrong. Can’t decide which is better, brunch or dinner at Moto. Love them both!!

“Pachinko Putt Putt” by Meat Pallet
[concept]: influenced by the Japanese game, Pachinko, get your ball up the ramp of the furniture “Pachinko” wall. Wherever the ball falls/bounces down from the ramp will either land you a potential hole in one, take you closer to back where you started, or just somewhere in between. great challenge!
Awesome hole dave, hannah, laura, jeff, and justin!! Love the details of the wall.

They are doing hole 7 called “Pachinko Putt Putt“. You can read up on them and the hole at that link. I’m excited to head out there and check it out!

This woman walked up to me today while I was taking out the recycling (just rolled outta bed in my pjs and slippers…haha). Told me she loved my haircut and it was exactly what she had been wanting and wondered where I got my haircut. I told her Mousey Brown in Brooklyn.
It’s an awesome place and I never come out disappointed. Thanks Andrew for making my hair look so good! Highly recommend this place ladies. The do email consultations too if you want beforehand so they can figure out what works best for your hair.
