Soooo excited for the “Where the Wild Things Are” movie!  Can’t wait

Thats exactly what I thought when I saw this.  This is a waster paper basket made of recycled paper by designers Riccardo Nannini, Domenico Orefice and Emanuele Pizzolorusso.  There are 50 pleated paper liners, just remove the topmost one when the basket is full.  Fun idea!  Jjust don’t spill liquid on it.  Original article here.

exsistence of light

Japanese painter and graphic artist Que Houxo created these works for an exhibition called “Exsistence of Light”.  Very fluorescent!  Awesome!

tweenbots…help them find their way

   

These tiny cardboard robots designed by Kacie Kinzer roam the city in hopes that someone will help them find their way.  The robots are human-dependent–navigating the city with the help of people they encounter.  They roll in a straight line, at a constant speed.  The little flag at the top indicates their end goal destination.  If the Tweenbots are headed the wrong way, people who are willing to engage them will physically turn/point them in the right direction where it will continue to roll.
